| Project: Devise an entry strategy for the nutraceuticals market.
Situation: Having a background in canned milk (Enfamil and Sustical) and a wealth of nutritional expertise, the client wanted to explore how to enter the emerging market of nutraceutical products Actions: we were hired to devise a comprehensive plan to enter the nutraceuticals market taking into account the client's existing infrastructure, expertise, and asset base. The plan included: Identifying markets to target; determining the make-up of the product-line and design strategies to use; selecting the sales and distribution channels to enter; identifying the manufacturing technologies to utilize; and establishing the pace of new products introductions. Results: We solved a complex and interconnected set of issues dealing with consumers, technologies, competitors and the trade.
